Terence is a Registered Physiotherapist in both Hong Kong and Australia who has extensive experiences in sports physiotherapy where specializes in orthopedics and sporting injuries. He has been Board Member of the Physiotherapists Board of Hong Kong since 2008.

To nurture future physiotherapists and fitness professionals, he currently serves the CEO / Program Director and Principal Lecturer for the Asian Academy for Sports and Fitness Professionals (AASFP) and the Sports Physiotherapy Consultant for the Asian Fitness Therapy Center (AFTC), as well as an Honorable Advisor of SCOPE of the City University of Hong Kong since 2006. Furthermore, he is a part-time lecturer at local tertiary institutions and medical sectors such as Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong Kong University, SCOPE of the City University of Hong Kong and Hong Kong Hospital Authority.

 

 

Mr. Jacky C.K. LEUNG

Jacky is a Registered Physiotherapist that specializes in sports injury management, ACL rehabilitation, manipulative therapy and sports massage therapy. After he graduated from Hong Kong Polytechnic University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physiotherapy, he obtained his Master’s Degree in Sports Physiotherapy and Certificate in Orthopedic Manual Therapy at Curtin University of Technology in Perth, Australia. In addition, he is the General Manager of the Asian Fitness Therapy Center (AFTC) and a senior lecturer at Asian Academy for Sports & Fitness Professionals (AASFP).

Aside from providing treatment at AFTC, he was invited as the team physiotherapist for the Hong Jacky served as the team physiotherapist for the Hong Kong team during the Busan Asian Games for the Disabled in 2002 and All China Games for the Disabled in 2003. He was also appointed as the team physiotherapist of South China Football Team since 2007 and Gai Wu Rugby Football Team since 2012 where he provides on-field physiotherapy in local and non-local football matches such as the AFC Cup. 

 

MS. Janice H.Y. NG

Janice obtained her Bachelor (Hons) Degree in Physiotherapy from Tung Wah College, HK. She is a registered physiotherapist in Hong Kong and is experienced in musculoskeletal, orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation.

She is particularly devoted to Women’s Health and has expertise in managing women’s pain conditions, as well as antepartum, postpartum rehabilitation etc.

Janice is also a certified yoga teacher RYT®️ 500 under the registration of Yoga Alliance. She pursued her yoga instructor certification at Asana Andiappan College of Yoga & Research Centre in India in 2017 and has more than 5 years of yoga teaching experience. She mastered the use of yoga for rehabilitation especially in managing pain conditions.

Her clinical specialties include musculoskeletal rehabilitation, women’s health, acupuncture, as well as orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation.

Michelle Lam is the Program Manager and senior lecturer at AASFP (Asian Academy for Sports and Fitness Professionals). Michelle is a Registered Physiotherapist in Hong Kong, having obtained her Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Hons) from the University of Melbourne.

Michelle obtained her Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Hons) from the University of Melbourne and is a Registered Physiotherapist in Hong Kong. Her clinical specialties include Sports Injury Rehabilitation and Exercise Therapy. She is also the Program Manager and senior lecturer at AASFP (Asian Academy for Sports and Fitness Professionals).

Her passion in exercise therapy and sports rehabilitation drove her to become a part-time lecturer at the Chinese University of Hong Kong’s Adult Learning Center, specializing in exercise therapy related courses. Michelle is also a presenter in various worldwide conventions; including the AFEEX, Fitness China, Asia Fit for sports injury prevention & rehabilitation.

Michelle is now a BASITM Faculty Member and instructs BASITM Pilates Certification courses worldwide. In 2013, Michelle completed the BASI Mentor Program (part of the BASI Pilates Ultimate) which the Pilates Ultimate is considered the highest level of in terms of skill execution and technique requirement.

 

MS. CARMEN K.M. YEUNG

Carmen is a Physiotherapist and a Center Manager for the Asian Fitness Therapy Center (AFTC). Her clinical specialties include Sports Injury Rehabilitation, Manipulative Therapy, Scoliosis & Exercise Therapy. She is also a lecturer for Asian Academy for Sports and Fitness Professional (AASFP). She graduated from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University (HKPU) with a First Class Honours Bachelor Degree in Physiotherapy. In 2007, she completed her Master Degree in Sports Physiotherapy at the Curtin University of Technology in Australia. In addition, she obtained a diploma in acupuncture at Sun Yat Sen University.
In terms of experiences, she was a physiotherapist in an orthopedic clinic in Hong Kong, and served at two hospitals in Singapore – the Gleneagles Hospital (Parkway Group Healthcare) and the Tan Tock Seng Hospital before.
 She has been the team physiotherapist for South China Football Team-Reserve Team and Gai Wu Rugby Team since 2008 and 2013 respectively. Furthermore, she also provides emergency medical service for the Hong Kong Rugby Football Union in her spare time. 
To further expand her knowledge, she completed a scoliosis specific course – International Schroth Three Dimensional Scoliosis Therapy (ISST). Being the certified ISST Schroth therapist, she can apply this well known exercise based Schroth Method to her patients.

Sharon Wong is a Registered Physiotherapist in Hong Kong, U.K. and Australia. Her clinical specialties are Sports Injuries, Exercise Rehabilitation, Clinical Pilates, Pre and Postnatal Fitness, Women’s Health and Acupuncture.

Sharon graduated from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy. She obtained her Master’s Degree in Exercise & Nutrition Science from the University of Liverpool (UK) and Professional Diploma in Acupuncture from the Hong Kong Baptist University.

Sharon has been a visiting lecturer at the University of Liverpool and the Clinical Educator at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. In AASFP, Sharon mainly lectures Pre & Postnatal Fitness, Fitball and participates in training of Fitness Specialist. She is also a qualified Pilates instructor (Clinical Pilates), Gyrotonic trainer and Fit-Ball instructor. She was invited to be the speaker for AFEEX and National certified Fitness Instructor Conference (NCFIC).

 

MR. CASSIDY C.W HO
Sports Therapist

Cassidy has graduated at The Technological and Higher Education Institute, specialized in Sports Therapy. He is a member of Sports Therapist.

He also serves as a Senior Program Officer of the Asian Academy of Sports and Fitness Professionals (AASFP). From 2018 to 2020, he participated different international sports support work, including International Tennis Federation World Tour Junior (Hong Kong Station) and Hong Kong Rugby Sevens. In 2020, he was the team sports therapist of the VTC Women’s Tertiary Rugby Team. Therefore, he has extensive experience in trauma management, sports massage and rehabilitation training.

His clinical specialties are sports rehabilitation, sports massage, stretching therapy and manual therapy.

Justin graduated with a BSocSc (Hons) in Sports and Recreation Management and specialized in Sports Therapy from Thei. His clinical specialties are Sports injuries, Exercises Rehabilitation, Posture correction and Sports Massage Therapy. He obtained his Advanced Personal Fitness Trainer Certificate from the Asian Academy for Sports and Fitness Professional and Corrective Exercise Specialist certification from National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM).

Justin passionate in sports injury management and rehabilitation and has been working in various international sports events such as Asia Canoe Polo Championships, Hong Kong Rugby Sevens, and International Tennis Federation Tennis Tournament.

MS. TRIX W K WOO
Trix is Pilates instructor of AFTC and AASFP. She has also been a Personal trainer and Pilates instructor of SCAA gym since 2007. Besides, she is a teacher of HKU SPACE short courses including Toning & stretching for good posture and Pilates.

 She had instructed Pilates and Fitness exercise classes at different organisations such as Light & Love Home and Heep Hong Society.

Trix was certified as an Advance Personal Trainer in 2005. After that, she continued her studies to further her knowledge to become a Pilates Trainer and Post Rehabilitation Trainer.
